30 Day Film Challenge: Day 5 - The First Film You Bought On DVD

This was when I was about…16 or 17 years old and I finally got myself a job. So the first thing that went through my head was…I gotta buy myself a movie because I’ve never owned a movie before. So the first thing I see is a black and silver case 12th anniversary edition Scarface DVD, and it was immaculate. I’ve never watched Scarface all the way through, but I have watched parts of it, but when I got it, I was not disappointed. Everything about it was so corny, but at the same time, awesome because it was just so gangster. I developed a likeness towards Crime films because people always die in them, and sometimes violently. I just thought that it was so cool to see so much violence and gore, but also a story in which the main character dies! I mean, how many movies are there where the title character dies in his own movie? Not many. This movie was great, and it was entertaining, and it’s one of those movies I can watch over and over again. After getting this DVD, I went off and researched more crime films, and found out about Reservoir Dogs. So I bought that and it was my second DVD I’ve ever bought. Reservoir Dogs was like a play. And it was a bad ass play with everyone dying at the end!!! Did I mention I like it when there’s violence, gore and people dying in movies? It’s just something awesome to me, because it’s just so forbidden. We’re not allowed to kill in real life, but in movies we can. Ohhh, the inspirations to be a film maker. :)

OH MY GUUUURRRRRRRRRD. So….I’m rewatching Breaking Bad, and I just watched the episode where Jesse and Jane first held hands in front of the tv screen. I couldn’t help but think HOW PERFECT THEY ARE TOGETHER!!!! And then I die a little on the inside because I already know what’s going to happen…But good GOD! Why Walt, WHYYY????? She could have been reasoned with!!! SHE COULD HAVE BEEN REASONED WIIIITHHHHH!!!!! ;____;

But anyway, enough of that. I can’t help but be SO ANNOYED of the sub plots in this show. They are just the most boring thing I could ever watch. Skyler is a bitch all the time, and she’s boring as shit. I literally just skip through all of her scenes because she’s so fucking pregnant and boring. Anyway, as soon as I’m done rewatching Breaking Bad up to Season 4 again, I’ll make a review of this show in full reviewing-ness, because I love this show to death! I can’t express how much I LOVE tv shows or movies that deal with Crime, or cops and robbers, The Departed, Scarface, The Godfather, etc. Anything that has to do with crime gives me a hard on. Anyway, see you soon tumblr. I just thought I’d let this out because I think Kristen Ritter is absolutely the sexiest and most beautiful woman that I’ve ever laid eyes on. She just has this sort of pain aesthetic within her, and it shows through her mannerisms, her eyes and even her voice. But yeah, just felt like touching on this subject a bit because Jane Margolis/Kristen Ritter got me all amped up. I’ll geek out later in a moment or two.
