30 Day Film Challenge: Day 4 - The First Film You Saw At The Cinema
Face-Off Directed by John Woo
Funny story…I was only 8 when I saw this at the cinema. My sisters back then, didn’t have any I.D.’s so they would use me as a scape goat to watch Disney’s Hercules! They bought tickets for Hercules, but snuck in to watch Face-Off. I was like…WTF?? This isn’t Hercules! I was mad at first…but then I started watching this bad ass movie….And it was fucking AWESOME!!! My child-like mind was blown out of proportion and I realized how awesome movies really are! This was a John Wu flick yo…And that’s a good fucking track record for me. lol So I couldn’t help but think that this movie was freaking sweet growing up, and I told all of my friends at school the other day, and all the cool kids were like—“Awww, Blong went to see a rated R movie?? This guy is cool!” And I was. The end. lmfao. So this movie was legendary in many different ways. And I will always remember this movie, and remember that Nicolas Cage used to be cool.
