Misadventures of The Blizzong

Ask me anything   Once upon a time ago, in a galaxy all the way over there by the grocery store, a cat layed an egg, and all was well. The end.

30 Day Film Challenge: Day 2 - Your Least Favourite Film

12 Monkeys - Directed by Terry Gilliam

I’m assuming my least “favorite” film means that it’s not the worst film, but the last in my favorite’s list. lol I’ll just go with according to what I…assume. Anyway, I remember watching 12 Monkeys when I was young, and I noticed Bruce Willis was in it. I was angry because he wasn’t “Dying Hard” or doing anything with explosions like he usually does. So for awhile, I hated this movie. However, when I grew up and my taste in films got a little better, I revisited this film and realized how AMAZING it really was!

When I was young, I didn’t know that this movie was about time travel. I was just angry that Bruce Willis wasn’t doing anything “explosive”! All I remembered from when I was little, was that Bruce Willis was in a mental hospital for what felt like….3 hours. I am so glad I decided to re-watch this movie when I got older. This is definitely a goldmine of good ideas, and a REALLY cool ending. So the reason why this film is my LEAST “favorite” film is because I used to hate it as a kid, but grew up to love it as an adult. And heck, there’s freaking time travel involved!!! Time Travel is my most favorite idea in any story because of the fact that it’s so fragile and easily tampered with. ANYTHING can happen, and EVERYTHING is unexpected. The ending definitely made me wanting more, but I’m glad how it ended because it just adds more to it’s gritty nature. I love this film, and seriously considering watching it again! :)
